Multi Function Corn Thresher Common Problems

Multi function corn thresher machine is an important processing machine for corn, sorghum, soybeans, wheat, millet and other grain crops. In the process of using the machine, some problems may occur due to improper operation or other reasons. Today, Taizy Machinery will introduce the common problems and solutions of the machine.

Poor threshing effect

There are four main reasons for the poor threshing effect of the multifunction corn thresher and incomplete threshing. The reasons are the following:

1. Excessive feeding volume at one time or uneven feeding.
2. The grain is not dried in advance, the grain humidity is too large, and threshing is very difficult.
3. The threshing gap of the multifunction corn thresher machine is too large and the machine should be stopped and re-commissioned.
4. The multi-function corn thresher’s internal drum speed is too low, resulting in a poor threshing effect.

According to the above problem,there are some adjustment methods for our customers.

1. Reduce the amount of feed, do not put too much at one time, do not exceed the maximum amount.
2. The staff should adjust the threshing gap correctly according to the manual, and check the wear of the parts regularly.
3. The motor pulley and thresher pulley should be reasonably coordinated.
4. Overly wet grain should be properly ventilated and dried before threshing, or dried in the sun in good weather.

Poor grain cleanliness

The main reason for the processed grains being dirty is a fan problem. Including low fan speed, or due to loose fan pulley screws, resulting in the fan not working properly. There are some adjustment methods below.

1. Staff should regularly check the looseness of the fan drive belt. If the belt becomes loose, adjust it appropriately to the proper level.
2. If the screws of the fan pulley are loose, tighten them immediately.

Appear excessive broken grains

The main reason for too many broken grains when the multi function corn thresher is working is that the threshing gap is too small or the drum speed is too high and the grain particles are broken by pressure. In addition, uneven feeding or unsuitable dryness and humidity of grains will also appear broken grains.

In order to solve the above problem, the operator should first check whether the threshing gap of the machine is normal. Generally speaking, the minimum clearance for threshing is around 4 mm. Then Check whether the matching of the drum pulley and the power pulley is reasonable.
