Last August, our Pakistani client visited our manufacturing plant to see and test our newly upgraded silage cutter firsthand. This visit was arranged after several rounds of online communication between both parties to evaluate the factory’s capabilities and machine quality before placing an order.

Background for our client’s visit

Pakistan has a great demand for forage processing equipment due to its developed cattle, sheep, and dairy farming industries. During earlier discussions, the customer emphasized several key concerns:

  • This silage cutter we need must be able to process fresh forage, corn stalks, wheat straw, and other common feed materials.
  • It needs to be able to operate reliably and durably for extended periods, while also being easy to operate and maintain.
  • High cutting efficiency is crucial, but the uniformity of the output length is also critical.

Considering the importance of this investment, the client decided to visit the factory in person to inspect the actual performance of the feed shredder before placing an order.

On-site trial of the new silage cutter

During the factory visit, our technical team arranged a comprehensive on-site test of the new silage cutter. Both dry straw and fresh corn stalks were used in the test.

Under the guidance of our technicians, our client carefully observed the machine’s internal structure, blade material, transmission system, and safety protection design, and asked detailed questions about wear parts and daily maintenance.

Customer feedback after the test

After the trial, the customer expressed great satisfaction with the overall performance of the machine. They stated that the feed grinder met their expectations in terms of efficiency, reliability, and ease of use:

  1. The high-speed rotating blades shredded the straw into pieces measuring 3-5 cm.
  2. The machine features both a high and a low discharge outlet, allowing for either bagging or direct feeding.
  3. During continuous operation, the machine’s vibration and noise were within acceptable limits.
